Unwind in a Traditional Dog Friendly English Pub.
The Black Horse started life at least 370 years ago built as an Inn for William Miles, a retired soldier, and his wife Susanah and reputedly once owned by Lincoln College, University of Oxford. It was later converted into a traditional Cotswolds pub and, to this day, remains the heart of the village and a great place to pass a few hours away.
Whether you’re looking for somewhere to sip a pint of real ale or a glass of wine, champagne or gin after a walk in the Cotswolds countryside; or just popping in for a pint on a sunny afternoon, a hearty welcome from the team at The Black Horse is always guaranteed.
Enjoy live music from some of the best local artists; wine tasting evenings; a tasty meal from the bar; or simply sit by the fire soaking up the atmosphere. It’s a little piece of old England to be treasured.
